After all, it's not a bicycle. It takes a lot of time and effort to inflate every three to five times. Tire is one of the important parts to ensure driving safety. If there is a problem, the car owner will not drive safely. Here, talk about the tire leakage phenomenon, how to self check, in order to replace in time!

Tire side and inner edge damaged

Some car owners have a poor sense of position and often let the side of the tire rub against the curb, which will wear the side of the tire over time. The damage of the inner edge of the tire is caused by the wrong operation when dismounting the tire on the wheel hub. This situation basically occurs in the process of installing the tire after replacing the new tire or repairing the tire. The side and inner edge of the tire are damaged, which will cause the tire leakage and high risk of tire burst.

Inspection method: the degree of damage to the side of the tire can be directly observed, and cracking and bulging will occur when it is serious. As long as this situation is found, the new tire must be replaced as soon as possible to avoid the accident of tire burst. If the inner edge of the tire is damaged, it can only be checked after the tire is disassembled. Therefore, when the car owner disassembles the tire in the repair shop, he should carefully supervise the operation mode of the repairman.

The foreign matter got into the tire

Puncturing foreign bodies is the most common injury of tires. The foreign matters that are easy to get into the tire include iron nails, screws, iron wires, glass fragments, sharp stones, tiles, etc. Among these foreign bodies, iron nails and screws are the most likely to pierce the tire, causing hidden leakage of the tire, and they will also be inserted in the damaged part of the tire. If they are not cleaned in time, it may aggravate the damage degree of the damaged part of the tire.

Inspection method: if there is a foreign matter on the tire, we only need to carefully observe the surface of the tire to find it. If the part where the foreign matter is stuck is relatively hidden, we can also spray water on the surface of the tire to find the place where there are bubbles, and sometimes we can even hear the "hissing" sound of deflation.

Deformation of hub flange

When the tire is full of gas, the outer edge of the tire will closely fit with the hub flange to prevent gas leakage in the tire. If the hub flange is impacted and deformed, it will affect the tightness with the outer edge of the tire, resulting in tire leakage.

Inspection method: if the hub flange is seriously deformed, we can find it with naked eyes; if the hub flange deformation is not obvious, you need to first remove the wheel, and then spray water to the connection part between the tire and the hub, where the bubbles are generated is the part of the hub deformation causing the leakage.

Broken hub

Hub rupture is rare. If the wheel hub is broken, the gas inside the vacuum tire will leak from the cracks, and the small cracks will become the hidden danger of the wheel hub fracture. It can be said that although this situation is rare, it is extremely dangerous.

Inspection method: check whether the wheel needs to be removed, and then check whether there are cracks on the surface and inner wall of the wheel hub. If the hub unfortunately cracks, then do not expect to repair, quickly replace the new hub is considered insurance.

Tire valve damaged

If no abnormality is found on the tire, then we can turn our attention to the valve. Household car is basically equipped with vacuum tire, valve is installed on the wheel hub, its material is mostly rubber. After a period of use, the rubber valve will slowly age, the texture will gradually harden, and finally crack and leak under the impact of sunlight, rain and tire pressure.
